We recognize the inter-relationship between the health of humans and the health of the planet on which we live. We understand that for humankind to thrive, we must support the conservation of biological and cultural diversity and environmental restoration. We develop and support activities that weave nature, culture and spirit in a life respecting vision that holds an optimistic view of our future.
HOPA MOUNTAIN - Consider Source is collaborating with the non profit organization, Hopa Mountain, to build a Native Science network that links tribal educators, environmental specialists and elders who are working together to improve science education programs in their home communities. By collaborating with tribal education leaders to create the Native Science Network and outdoor education programs that equally honor the indigenous and scientific way of knowing, together we will nurture future generations that are more capable of monitoring and managing western lands and waterways. We desire to offer positive and sustaining experiences for youth that promote direct interaction with their environment, their traditional culture and respected adults. 2005. 2006.
